What can I expect from The Roar?
Go back in time to Chicago’s Prohibition era at The Roar on Rush! A lively speakeasy that lights the way to a hidden 4-room cocktail experience where you will meet vibrant characters from the elaborate web of a Roaring Twenties bootlegging operation. Each room tells a story and is paired with a cocktail tasting from Prohibition times! Afterwards, take a seat in the speakeasy for more cocktails, food, and live music with special performances. Break out your best flapper dresses and linen jackets, this cocktail party at The Roar is not to be missed!
Where is the experience located?
The address is 437 N. Rush Street. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before your ticketed time. Coat check will be available upon entry.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
How long does the experience last?
90 minutes. Each session starts at the ticketed start time and ends at the ticketed end time.
Is there a content warning (CW)?
The Tasting Experience contains flickering lights, discussion of murder, domestic and state violence, war, addiction, interactions with law enforcement and the mob.
Is it COVID secure and safe?
The Experience is designed to meet guidelines set by the CDC and the State of Illinois. Cast members are tested regularly and masks are encouraged for those who feel most comfortable wearing them, when not eating or drinking.
Is there air conditioning?

We will have reading materials for the 4-room experience. We do not have an interpreter on site.

Will there be strobe lights or haze?
No strobe lights are used, though there are flickering lights in the Tasting Experience. A light haze may be used at times.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?

Can I take photos or record the experience?
Photos are not permitted in the 4-room Tasting Experience. However, feel free to take and share photos in the Bar and common areas. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted. Guests cannot record the experience for any purposes other than social media. No flash photography .
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
Yes, there are chairs in the speakeasy part of the experience.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Are there vegan or gluten free options available?
No. There are vegetarian options available.
Can I purchase a ticket at the event?
Yes, tickets are only available for purchase online. If you are purchasing as a group or with another person, please make sure you purchase your tickets for the same day and session time.

Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. Ticket non-refund terms and conditions are agreed to before purchase. However, under special circumstances, you can contact us and our user support team will review your request. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us
for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Can I reschedule my tickets to another date/time, or upgrade/downgrade my ticket?
We may be able to help reschedule or exchange your ticket for another date, time or ticket type that has not already sold out. Please contact us

What are the official sellers for this experience?
Official tickets for The Roar can only be purchased on Fever
. Tickets are not available on any other website or ticketing platform.
Can I make a Group Booking?

I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us
Do I need to wear a mask?
Mask use is not mandatory. Please respect our guests who choose to wear a mask.
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the time on your ticket, but you can arrive within the next 15 minutes of the start time.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive 20 minutes past the start time - due to the safety of our guests at the experience, you will not be granted access to the experience. Your ticketed time is for 90 minutes total. The 90 minutes begin at the start of your ticket time, not when you are seated.

There is an elevator for use and the experience is ADA compliant.
Is there parking available?
Paid street parking, and a paid parking lot across the street on Rush Street.
What if the weather is bad?
Please bring an umbrella if there is rain, as you will be outside before entering the experience.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Flash photography, alcohol, drugs, weapons, anything which may disturb the other patrons.
